So you want to study abroad?

Columbus State University's Center for International Education is the place to visit if you want to study abroad. We have the time and resources to help you navigate the application process, decipher scholarship guidelines, and, most importantly, discover the study abroad program that's right for you.

Not sure where you want to go?

Read our How to Pick a Program(pdf) guide, call 706-565-4036, or stop by the International House to sign up for a Start Packing! session. In Start Packing!, students meet in small groups and get all their questions answered. They are held every Thursday at 12:30 p.m.

Oxford offers special opportunities

Are you interested in studying in Oxford, England? CSU offers a unique experience for students through summer and yearlong programs. Visit the CSU in Oxford page.

Think money is the issue?

At CSU, we offer many scholarships for our study abroad students. The great majority of students who study abroad receive financial aid toward their experience. Visit our scholarship page, and don't forget to stop by the Financial Aid Department as well.

A Student's Perspective

Many CSU students who participate in study abroad programs want to share their experiences with others. These students keep blogs of their trips and share them with us. View the links to blogs of CSU students on current and past programs.

Beyond CSU ...

CSU students can also qualify for credit through study abroad programs offered elsewhere. The University System of Georgia offers a searchable, online Study Abroad Catalog.
