2009 Study Abroad Photo Competition

Students who participated in study abroad programs during Fall 2008, Spring 2009 and Summer 2009 were invited to submit a single photograph from their experiences. Twenty seven students submitted photos, representing eleven different study abroad programs (Japan, Oxford, Paris, Mexico, China, Ireland, Peru, London, Bahamas, Germany, and Italy).

A panel of faculty judges reviewed and ranked the photos. In judging the photos, the panel considered the photo which best

• conveys the study abroad experience
• reveals the culture of the host country
• demonstrates artistic and creative merit
