STUDY ABROAD PHOTO COMPETITION 2007 AWARD WINNERS

Students who participated in study abroad programs during Fall 2006, Spring 2007 and Summer 2007 were invited to submit a single photograph from their experiences. Twelve students submitted photos, representing five different study abroad programs (Japan, Oxford, the Bahamas, Africa and Belize).

A panel of faculty judges reviewed and ranked the photos. In judging the photos, the panel considered the photo which best

• conveys the study abroad experience
• reveals the culture of the host country
• demonstrates artistic and creative merit

The judges’ results were as follows:

The first and second place winners received $50 and $25 awards respectively.
