Costa Rica Servant Leadership

Students participating in this program will have the opportunity to study a different culture than their own, in the context of Servant Leadership. Participants will spend a week (over CSU Spring Break) volunteering at local agencies where they can experience aspects of the culture first hand. In addition, students will interact with the leaders in the community to gain a better understanding of the needs and current issues of the country.

Program Highlights

  • Home Stays with Costa Rican families
  • Excursions to San Jose, the focal point of political and economic activity
  • Working with local school children
  • Visit to Playa Punta Leona Beach
